Payment processors and how to dispute charges directly
Uber Eats UK processes payments through Adyen. If Uber blocks your refund, your card issuer can raise a chargeback (Visa/Mastercard) or Section 75 claim (credit cards over £100) directly.

Under UK consumer law, contact your bank to dispute the charge. For credit card purchases over £100, Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act makes your bank jointly liable.

Address: 71 Great Peter Street, London SW1P 2BN. ŠKODA UK IS ACCREDITED to both the New Car Code and the Service & Repair Code. Process: (1) Complain to dealer/Škoda UK. (2) Wait 8 weeks for final response. (3) Raise dispute at themotorombudsman.org. Decisions are legally binding on accredited businesses. Typically several months to resolve.

Free, independent service. If your bank refuses to reverse a charge, escalate to the Ombudsman. Uber's PSP is obligated to respond.
The FCA is actively investigating motor finance PCP/HP mis-selling by all lenders including VWFS/Škoda Finance. Report a serious safety defect: contact-dvsa.service.gov.uk/report-vehicle-safety-defect. Online form: forms.dvsa.gov.uk/Vsdr/create. CHECK IF YOUR ŠKODA HAS AN OPEN RECALL: gov.uk/check-vehicle-recall (enter registration). Škoda official UK recall page: skoda.co.uk/owners/recall-campaigns. If Škoda refuses to carry out a mandatory recall repair, report to DVSA immediately — they can compel compliance and prosecute dealers. No time limit on safety recall repairs; always free of charge.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a 30-day right to reject a faulty vehicle for a full refund. After 30 days, the dealer gets one repair attempt. If you suspect criminal mis-description, odometer fraud, or deliberate concealment of defects, report to Trading Standards via Citizens Advice. Trading Standards can prosecute dealers and contribute to enforcement action against persistent offenders.
For financial losses up to £10,000 (Small Claims Track), file online at moneyclaim.gov.uk. Filing fee: £35–£455 depending on claim value. No lawyer required. Škoda dealers and VWFS almost always settle before the hearing date. You can claim: cost of independent repairs, diminution in value, hire car costs, and distress/inconvenience. Send a Letter Before Action giving 14 days to settle — this is legally required before filing.
